East Vincent Advocacy (EVA) is a resident-based nonprofit that raises awareness of township issues and empowers residents to engage meaningfully in municipal government. We work to protect our rural way of life and the long-term integrity of East Vincent Township. EVA engages monitoring zoning, land-use, and development processes to ensure that major decisions reflect adopted zoning, environmental safeguards, and the public interest.

Over more than six years, EVA has demonstrated that informed, sustained civic advocacy works. Through intensive preparation and skilled participation in public hearings, expert engagement, and legal processes,
EVA has:
•    Helped protect our agricultural and rural conservation areas across the entire township
•    Upheld zoning integrity
•    Strengthened democratic governance, and
•    Prevent development outcomes that would have caused irreversible harm.
Many of these successes resulted in proposals being altered, withdrawn, or stopped before permanent impacts occurred.

East Vincent now faces unprecedented development pressure, including a proposed hyperscale data center at the historic Pennhurst campus. Decisions of this magnitude are governed by law, evidence, and expert testimony. EVA’s role is to ensure the public record is complete and defensible—so communities have an effective seat at the table to offset the developer’s resources.

Your donation helps us continue to successfully defend our zoning and protect the rural character of our township. Every dollar counts and no amount is too small.
